Qiang Yang is a Endowed Chair Professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a fellow of AAAI, IEEE and several other international societies. He is the founding Editor in Chief of ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology (ACM TIST) and IEEE Transactions on Big Data journals. He is the Vice Chair of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (Overseas), a Trustee of IJCAI and member of AAAI Executive Council. He was the founding director of Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab and the Program Chair for IJCAI 2015. His main research interest is Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. He is a leading scholar in the area of Transfer Learning. Qiang Yang has published more than 400 research papers with over 20,000 citations.
